First State Bank wants to hear about the young professionals shaping the future of the region

First State Bank needs your help to honor the brightest young professionals in the Great Lakes Bay Region.

"Since 2005, 1st State Bank’s RUBY Award has honored our area’s brightest professionals under the age of 40 who have made their mark in their professions and are having an impact throughout the Great Lakes Bay Region," according to the bank website.

Nominees must either work or live in Bay, Midland, or Saginaw counties. They must be 39 or younger on Dec. 31.

Other than that, though, the criteria is wide open. Past honorees have included people working in private businesses, non-profits, education, health care, banking, and more.

To nominate someone for the award, visit the 1st State Bank website. Nominations are due Oct. 29. Nominees will be asked to complete an additional questionnaire to elaborate on their career and accomplishments.

If you have questions, contact Allison Becker at AllisonB@1stState.Bank
