Editor’s Pick: Taste and Tour Old Town

Food. Sun. Shopping. Really, what reason is there to not go to the Taste and Tour of Old Town Saturday, April 10?

This annual event opens the doors to the magic of Old Town. Businesses and restaurants put on quite the show and for those of you (we know you’re out there) who haven’t been to Old Town, so this is the weekend to cross over that funky Grand River exit and check it out.

For the second year in a row, Old Town is opening up some of its lofts. Trust us, they’re worth seeing. They’re very big-city, but their real value is the comforting and quiet streets they overlook.

If you want the loft tours as well as samplings of Old Town’s delicious restaurants, get your tickets early for $13. They’re $15 the day of the event. Tickets for loft tours only are $5. Tickets can be purchased at the Old Town Commercial Association (OTCA), Grace Boutique, October Moon and at Pastry Palette.

Taste & Tour of Old Town is a fundraiser for the OTCA, which helps to continue its mission of revitalizing the Old Town district.

The event is from noon until 5 p.m.
