Welcome Veronica!

Whether this is surprising or embarrassing, we're not sure ... but we are certainly pleased to introduce you to our first Lansing bred and born editor! Please welcome Veronica Gracia-Wing who will taking over part of the news editing gig as Capital Gains' Innovation Editor!

Gracia-Wing is a proud JW Sexton graduate who has lived in two south side neighborhoods (Moores Park and Averill Woods), the Westside neighborhood, Downtown neighborhood, and now the Old Forest neighborhood - where she is looking to get involved by supporting the revitalization of its association. Gracia-Wing has a four-legged kiddo Baz (named after the famous Australian director) and two-legged boyfriend named Luke.

When she's not busy hunting down the most innovative projects in our region, she's completing her studies at MSU, with a focus on conservation biology in the Fisheries and Wildlife department. As a natural resources and communications nerd, her aspirations include telling the stories and sharing the value of our great outdoors.

A passionate advocate for this city and the people that make it great, Gracia-Wing is excited to be able to work with Capital Gains to share the amazing things happening in our community.

All this aside, she is also a localvore, actress and director, and an enjoyer of beer and wine. You will also find her in the outdoors or on the water whenever time allows.
