Staffing: Jobs Landed

I came to East Lansing in 2006 to attend Michigan State University. I fell in love with the city and university and have never left. Shortly after I graduated in 2010, I was recruited by my company, Robert Half. Not only do I enjoy what I do daily but I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to not only assist companies in the area with their staffing needs but also getting the Greater Lansing area back to work!!

As a recent Spartan alumna, I bleed green and white and love being close to campus and all of the sporting events! I was recently elected to the Executive Board of the MSU Alumni Club of Mid-Michigan and have taken on the role of Young Alumni Co-Coordinator. The opportunity to spread Spartan pride and encourage others to become active in their local Alumni Club is truly an honor!

I get to communicate with great people who are seeking employment in Michigan, Illinois, and across the United States.  My job function is to recruit people across the country for contract and direct-hire positions as engineers, IT personnel, human resources, and supply chain positions for our client companies.  HRU Technical Resources provides contract opportunities to "get your foot in the door" with amazing companies.  I love communicating with people and matching up our clients' positions with our candidates' skills and experience to find the best person for the job.  

Working as a recruiter is never boring!  There is always something to do, someone to talk to, and something to research or read.  It is extremely important to stay in touch and up to date for all human resources and staffing positions.  The work we do is constantly changing.  Social media networks now play a huge role in the recruitment process.  This job and company are perfect for someone who enjoys people, staying busy, and having a friendly and helpful group of ambitious co-workers.
