I left a good-paying, highly-secure job in the biotech industry to begin a career in Real Estate. Why? Because I loved the idea of running my own business and helping people make their home ownership dreams come to fruition. As the daughter of entrepreneurs, this has been a dream of mine for years and with the Ann Arbor housing market beginning to rebound, it seemed like the perfect time.

My job is to find qualified buyers and show them properties based on their specifications. I assist people in preparing to buy their very first homes or those who are in need of  larger properties. I chose Washtenaw County, more specifically the Ann Arbor/ Ypsilanti area because I really enjoy the atmosphere of young professionals. I started getting involved in Real Estate in High School and decided to really dedicate focus on building my own business after college. The best part of my job is meeting new people and helping them find and buy the home of their dreams. Helping people accomplish a goal they believed was unattainable is the best part of my job.

I was born and raised on Ann Arbor’s Old Westside.  Upon returning to Ann Arbor in 2009 and after six years in the United States Marine Corps I have been helping people buy and sell their homes.  Prior to the service I earned my B.A from Alma College in Business Administration and earned a Master’s of Public Administration from the University of Oklahoma.  Ann Arbor is a great community to live and grow. I am passionate about assisting those who are purchasing or selling their homes.  A full- time Real Estate Agent, I offer my clients honest advice based on thorough research and a solid understanding of client needs.

Having worked as an entrepreneur and as a professional in the automotive industry prior to focusing on helping clients buy and sell homes, I possess a valuable understanding of working with clients that have hectic and demanding schedules.

My previous experience working, almost exclusively, with local business owners and professionals provides me with the ability to navigate through large transactions without disrupting the rest of my clients lives. And, having significant experience with today’s technology, I am able to maximize these skill-sets making transactions happen quicker and more efficiently; allowing home-owners a chance to settle in quickly and investors to move on to the next acquisition with alacrity.

As the Marketing Coordinator for the Charles Reinhart Company, I am primarily responsible for our online presence, including the social media strategy, website and blog. I assist with marketing training classes for agents as well as event and activity planning. I also work with agents on their website and new media strategies.

As a software engineer at RentLinx I am responsible for developing new software products for the RentLinx customers (landlords and property management companies). In addition, I also work on maintaining existing products and providing customer support as necessary.

I work closely with the loan officers and the borrowers to gather all the necessary loan documentation prior to submitting their loan to our underwriting dept. I pride myself in my hard work and determination to make it a smooth process from beginning to end.

Real estate investment is a very personal and emotional decision. As a buyers agent, I will share my knowledge and guide you through the entire process from the very beginning stages of getting your pre-approval with a mortgage lender all the way through closing. I do my very best to make the home shopping process stress free. I welcome every opportunity to help.

I own and run a real estate practice. I helped 68 families and individuals buy or sell their house or condo. I have been awarded the President's Award and I am the #2 highest producing agent for Edward Surovell Realtors, and #6 highest producing Realtor in Ann Arbor. Real estate is my passion and it is a career that I love. I enjoy working with people and helping them achieve their goals. There is never a challenge that I would pass up in the real estate world. My goal is not just to sell real estate, but to educate my clients so they can make their own best decisions.
