Since its founding in 2001 by Bradley Jacobsen and Darryl Daniels, the airport planning firm has grown from 2 to 20+ employees, developed a robust internship program and acquired its own building in downtown Ypsilanti. Revenue growth has been 400% over the last five years.
Partners Jacobsen and Daniels have 40 years of combined experience in airport planning and development and combine the best attributes of technical and management proficiency. The firm's services include everything from urban and environmental planning to architecture, engineering and and information technology to facility management and operation.
Their client list includes some of the largest and busiest airports in the world --including: Metro Detroit, New Orleans, Phoenix and Chicago, Midway and they recently signed a contract with Cleveland International Airport to provide on-call planning. All told, JDA has contracts with airport projects around the country with a total value of $3 billion dollars.
JDA's revenues for 2007 are expected to reach $2.4 million and the intend to bring n another 6-8 hires by the end of 2008.
