Dearborn Restaurant Week returns in February

A light is shining on Dearborn’s diverse culinary culture.

Now in its third year, the annual Dearborn Restaurant Week returns to the city. The weeklong event runs from Feb. 11 through Feb. 17.

While customers can expect their favorite items to remain on the menus during the event, the restaurant week encourages diners to try specially crafted dishes. Each restaurant will offer a prix-fixe, three-course meal for $10, $20, or $30. Plates are available at lunch, dinner, or both, depending on the restaurant, and for one or two people.

"Downtown Dearborn is a top Metro Detroit food destination, and we are continuing to add new spaces and experiences to explore," Cristina Sheppard-Decius, Dearborn Downtown Development Authorities’ Executive Director, said in a release.

"Dearborn Restaurant Week is an opportunity to celebrate the incredible culinary talent and options we offer in Downtown Dearborn as we invite all to pull up a chair and dig in!"

The current list of participating restaurants includes Al Ameer, bd’s Mongolian Grill, Brome Modern Eatery, The Butcher’s Grille, Caesars Coney and Grill, Cheat Treats, Dearborn Meat Market, Edison’s, Famous Hamburger, Ford’s Garage, Habib’s Cuisine, LA Bistro, La Fork, La Pita, La Shish, Lefty’s Cheesesteak, Lue Thai Café, M Cantina, Mint 29, Mocha Bistro, New York Deli, Peacock Indian Cuisine, Sheeba Restaurant, Shawarma Bash, Trio Eats, Xushi Ko, and Zo’s Good Burger.

"The lunch and dinner options and affordable price points makes Dearborn Restaurant Week the ideal time to sample Dearborn’s diverse food scene," says Sam Abbas, organizer, West Dearborn Downtown Development Authority Chairperson, and founder of Afor Concepts.
