Davenport University starts up new master's degree in health information

Interested in obtaining a masters degree in health informatics and information management? Well, take a gander at Davenport University in Midland, as it's the first university in Michigan to offer the specialized degree. 
 
"Davenport’s College of Health Professions is excited to offer this new and innovative addition to our list of graduate-level programs," says Dr. Karen Daley, Dean of Davenport’s College of Health Professions. "This degree will prepare practitioners for advanced careers and leadership roles related to the information-dependent environment of healthcare."
 
The master's degree provides a blend of business, technology and health care graduate education that can be applied to current health systems environment. The program is based on the most contemporary practices in the field and is structured to provide students with experiences in a wide variety of industry aspects.
