Michigan has nurtured a lot of great ice skaters, and now a major ice dancing event is going to be hosted in mid-Michigan.
Excerpt: A national comptition on ice will be held in the Lansing area. The Greater Lansing Sports Authority has won its bid to host the 2015 National Solo Ice Dancing Series Finals. The event will be held September 23-26 at Suburban Ice in East Lansing.
This is the first time the event is being held outside Colorado Springs, according to a statement from the Greater Lansing Sport Authorty Executive Director Mike Price.
