Midland Furniture Garage opens in city circle

Last week, a new business opened in Midland’s Center City, as reported by the Midland Daily News. Midland Furniture Garage now inhabits the former Firestone Service Center located at 34 Ashman Circle in Midland. We are excited to see new businesses come to Midland, and the renovation brings vibrancy to the area.

Owner Kevin Harrison’s third store, the space offers furniture, home accessories and design services, as well as a curated selection of vintage pieces. He currently operates Harrison Interiors and STUFF in Clarkston. Each location has it’s own look and feel tailored to the local market needs.

Midland’s Garage offers a variety of home-related products including window coverings, mattresses, case goods and lighting. Harrison said the store will have specific areas focused on the upholstered furniture lines with specific focus to area design needs.

The store offers American-made custom furniture and home goods with a focus on the consumer making on purchase decisions though tactile, in-person experience.

"Our upholstered furniture lines are both made in America and offer easy and affordable customization of everything from sofas, sectionals and ottomans to recliners and lounge chairs," Harrison said. "Furniture buying is a tactile experience and feeling the sit of a sofa and the hand of a fabric is critical when making final selections."

Midland Furniture Garage’s hours of operation are Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 10 a.m to 6 p.m., Thursday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m.
