Century 21 Northland expands with Old Mission Peninsula office

Real estate sellers and buyers have a new place to turn on the Old Mission Peninsula near Traverse City.

Century 21 Northland is opening a new office in Mapleton in early December. The real estate brokerage will have seven offices across northern Michigan when this one is done.

The location, designed by Whiteford Associates, Inc. from Traverse city, is central in Mapleton, near the Peninsula Market, Peninsula Grille and Bad Dog Deli. It will serve as home base for Century 21 agents working in or around the Old Mission Peninsula, which include eight agents who reside on the peninsula. Those agents and visiting agents will have space in the office to work, hold client meetings, and arrange showings, and the location also will hold frequent office hours to serve walk-in clients.

The expansion was spurred by the amount of business Century 21 Northland already was doing in the area; the agency says it will complete $17 million in sales in Peninsula Township this year.

"We are proud to be the first real estate office located on Old Mission Peninsula," says Northland co-owner Julia Lilley. "This is just one more milestone which solidifies our commitment to selling properties and homes in one of the most beautiful places in the state."
