Local teens build business while learning life lessons

The classic way an entrepreneur is born is to find a product or idea that's missing but shouldn't be--and that's what two local teenagers did.

Excerpt: Dakota and Garret Porter wanted to shake up the ski slopes with a splash of color. Together they created Action Glow, an LED lighting system that adds color and safety to longboards, bikes, skis, and more.

Thanks to the help of their family and community, these teenage entrepreneurs are ready to introduce themselves and their product to northern Michigan.
