AVB expands staff by three and adds commercial construction intern

AVB recently hired Drew Madison as a new residential construction assistant, Kayce Geering as a residential and staff accountant, and Todd Blamer as a residential framer. Ben Lawson has been hired as a Commercial Construction Intern.

Madison is currently an honors student at Ferris State University going for his degree in construction management. Drew will be working closely with the company's residential construction team building custom homes throughout the community. He will not only gain "on the job" experience but will add significant value to the work done at AVB.

Geering has her degree in organizational management from Spring Arbor University and has extensive administrative and management experience. Geering will be working with the residential accountants as well as the AVB staff accountants in payroll.

Blamer has over 20 years of experience in the construction industry and years of experience of working with AVB as one of their go-to subcontractors. He will be working with the AVB residential team to build custom homes throughout the community.

Lawson is currently a student at Western Michigan University, earning his degree in Industrial and Entrepreneurial Engineering, with an interest in construction. He plans to graduate in December of 2016. He was a former U.S. Marine and joined the AVB team as their newest Monroe Brown intern. Ben will be working "on site" at the Corner@Drake development all summer.
