Biggs-Gilmore takes top award from Web Marketing Association

When it comes to web marketing Biggs|Gilmore of Kalamazoo is hard to beat.

For the second time in five years it has been named the top agency in the annual competition sponsored by the Web Marketing Association.

In the 2011 competition, Biggs|Gilmore won 28 awards, including 13 outstanding website awards, 13 standard of excellence awards and two "best of" awards. The agency was recognized for 28 different websites.

More than 2,000 sites from 45 countries were judged in 96 industry categories during this year's competition. Entries were judged on design, copywriting, innovation, content, interactivity, navigation and use of technology.

Andy Gould, senior vice president, executive creative director, says: "When you have the kind of strategic, creative and development talent we have here, it's no accident that nearly every one of our clients shares in the awards."

Previously, the agency was named Top Agency in 2007 and has been among the most recognized agencies in the competition for the past eight years.

Founded in 1973, Biggs|Gilmore is a digital agency with a core expertise in integration of offline and online marketing strategies. The firm also has been named an AdAge Agency of the Year in 2010.

The agency has offices in Kalamazoo and Chicago. Key clients include Heinz, Kellogg Company and Kimberly-Clark.
