Perrigo adds three to staff in Allegan

A new customer service representative, a system analyst and a quality manager for quality assurance are the latest employees to be hired by Perrigo Co. to work in Allegan.

McKensey Hedberg has been hired as customer service representative. She will manage designated accounts through tasks such as order processing and maintenance, reporting, internal communication, and customer system knowledge.

Hedberg started with Perrigo in May 2013 as a marketing intern. She earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a minor in musical theater from Bethel College in Mishawaka, Ind. in December 2014. 

Hedberg is from Port Huron and currently lives in Kalamazoo.

Holly Kequom has been hired as a Systems Analyst I for the information technology and systems team, based in Allegan. She will help support the enterprise-wide server. 

Kequom brings to Perrigo about six years of IT experience, working as a data integrity specialist at a financial institution and as an apps apprentice through an agency, supporting SAP ABAP (SAP’s programming language) development at Perrigo. 

Kequom earned a bachelor’s degree from Western Michigan University and lives in 
Kalamazoo.

Brandon Persinger is now working as Quality Manager, Quality Assurance, for the Tablet Value Stream team. 

Persinger oversees the plant quality assurance and product release functions, ensuring that tablets have the expected strength, identity, potency, safety and quality necessary for their intended purpose. 

He has 14 years of experience in roles including production manager, quality assurance manager, and quality director for biotech and pharmaceutical manufacturing companies 

Persinger earned a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Michigan in 1995. 

He is from Holland and currently resides in Saugatuck.
