Perrigo hires new vice president

A new vice president. Corporate Global Compliance and Chief Privacy Officer has been hired by Perrigo Co. Clivetty Martinez will be responsible for overseeing he daily compliance program’s activities. She will promote awareness of Perrigo’s code of conduct and core values, identify areas of compliance risk, and guidete efforts of the compliance teams at each Perrigo location worldwide. She will work in Allegan.

Dr. Martinez has 14 years of global compliance experience in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries. She has numerous certifications in compliance, including a Health Care Compliance certification from Seton Hall University, a Leadership in Compliance certification from INSEAD University in France, and a CCEP Certification from the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics.

In 2013, she received an award for outstanding leadership from The International Women’s Leadership Association. Additionally, she received a certificate of appreciation from the University of Miami School of Business Administration for outstanding performance and lasting contributions in development of their certification in Latin America Health Care Compliance Program.

Dr. Martinez has a doctorate in international health studies. She received her master’s degree in occupational therapy from Duquesne University. She received a pre-law/labor relations certificate from Cornell University. Dr. Martinez is from Miami, Florida, and will be relocating to Michigan for this new position.
