Bronson names Rowe, Baranowski as new directors

Michael Rowe and Cynthia Baranowski have been named new directors at Bronson Healthcare.

Rowe is now executive director of the Bronson Lifestyle Improvement and Research Center. He will have management responsibility for the Bronson Athletic Club.

Rowe is a nine-year Bronson Methodist Hospital employee, and most recently served as director of Food, Nutrition and Retail services. He was responsible for the hospital's food and gift retail outlets, inpatient meals, catering, inpatient and outpatient clinical nutrition therapy, and the development of Bronson's sustainable food program.

He retains executive leadership over those areas.

Rowe earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from Western Michigan University.

Baranowski is stepping into the newly created role of membership sales director for the Bronson Athletic Club. She previously handled membership and marketing for the Gull Lake Country Club.

A former competitive skater and figure skating coach, Baranowski has many years of club experience. She served as a principal coach at the Chelsea Piers sports center in New York City and at a large sports complex in Brooklyn.

Baranowski earned her bachelor's degree in business administration from Davenport University.  She is currently working toward an M.B.A. in strategic management there.
