Our friends over at the Upper Peninsula Marketing Department Inc. in Houghton have some exciting news -- they are expanding.
This isn't just a little expansion, either. The Marketing Department Inc. has launched an entirely new division -- the Design Department Inc. The idea behind the new launch is to create the ability to help small businesses with small budgets still be able to get the design work they need, ranging from logos and brochures to rack cards and menus and so much more.
It's not that the Marketing Department Inc. team wasn't already helping with design work while working with their customers, but it was clear there was a need for a dedicated team of designers after the company conducted a survey regarding marketing needs for U.P. businesses. The overall response was "Yes, please!" when it came to affordable design needs.
Designs by the Upper Peninsula Marketing Department Inc. can be seen all over the place already. Examples include: Downtown Houghton, MTEC SmartZone, Keweenaw Convention and Visitors Bureau, Aspirus, Michigan Tech, Marquette Food Co-op, Marquette Chamber and many more.
