Tank manufacturer relocates parts store to 25-acre campus headquarters

The entrance to the new Burch Tank & Truck parts facilityFresh off the heels of its announced addition of a cutting-edge fiber laser cutter, Burch Tank is yet again making the news in Mt. Pleasant.

The company, which has been manufacturing tanks for the agricultural, chemical, crude oil, petroleum, ISO and industrial gas industries since 1990, recently celebrated the relocation and opening of its parts store.

The Burch Parts Store has moved from Venture Way to the company’s main campus on Enterprise Drive. The move allows the company to consolidate its services within the 25-acre property.

"Moving to the new location allows customers to stop and see the manufacturing facility, while picking up parts for their tanks," says Jeff Harrison, CEO of Burch Tank and Truck, Inc.

"It gives employees more opportunities to interact with all customers. It also helps to stream line the manufacturing process by not having to travel so far to supply parts to the manufacturing floor."

The parts store carries all major wear items necessary for maintaining Burch Tanks along with other brands.

In addition to manufacturing its own tanks, Burch offers its machining services to outside companies. The fiber laser cutter announced late last year is billed by the company as one of the largest of its kind in the Midwest.

The relocation of Burch Parts Store is about convenience, says the company. Now the parts store, a newly remodeled office headquarters, and the 60,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility are all on the same 25-acre campus.

"This is a win, win for customers and employees," Harrison says.

The Burch Tank parts store and campus is located at 2145 Enterprise Dr. in Mt. Pleasant.
