NASA, NASCAR, and mining equipment all have something in common – Royal Oak.
More specifically,
Bonal International Inc., a high-end machine-manufacturing firm in... wait for it... Royal Oak. They specialize in a product called Meta-Lax Stress Relief.
As metal gets worked over, stress builds up – not unlike humans – and when that happens the metal can snap (also not unlike humans), setting a project back for who knows how long.
Through vibrations the metal relaxes and stress is alleviated, this lengthens the life of the beam or the tool. Essentially it's like a massage for metal.
Through this product, Bonal saw a 25 percent increase in sales. Higher sales equal more jobs and president George Hebel says that he'll be looking to add at least three more positions to his staff of 17.
