The youngest members of the Marquette County community have a new place to hang out thanks to the YMCA.
The
YMCA of Marquette County welcomed children and parents, as well as the public, staffers and educators to an open house for its new early childhood development center this week. The event was held in conjunction with the Lake Superior Community Partnership.
The new center is located at 3052 Wright Street in Marquette, on the west end of the city. It brings the Y's locations to five, and is open from 7 a.m .to 6 p.m. weekdays. It offers before and after school care, full-day and half-day programs, and other education and care services.
