Arnold Line appoints new president

The Arnold Ferry Line has a new president, as the board of directors announced this week Brent C. Rippe will take over that role.

The ferry company is gearing up for its season on the Straits of Mackinac as the Arnold Transit Co. board of directors appointed Rippe to replace former president James Wynn as part of a move in a different direction, according to the announcement.

Wynn won't continue to be involved at Arnold in any way, but other management will remain the same, with Matt Stuck as vice president and Veronica Dobrowolski as general manager.

Arnold Ferry Line has served Mackinac Island and the surrounding communities for 135 years with docks in St. Ignace, Mackinaw City and Mackinac Island.
