CCI Systems sells electrical division to employees

CCI Systems in Iron Mountain announced it has sold off its electrical division, Econ Electric--but not to a competitor or another company. Three Econ Electric employees, Pat Fink, Bryan Gawlik, and Greg Hartjes have bought the division, its building and assets from CCI Systems.

Econ Electric will continue to provide its electrical contracting services, which include working on industrial, water treatment, paper, chemical, oil and gas, health care, institutional and higher education facilities across the western U.P. and northern Wisconsin.

The Econ Electric facility is located in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin. Fink, Gawlik and Hartjes all have worked for the company for much of their careers, coming up from apprentice wiremen to general manager and project managers.

CCI bought Econ in 2002; it had been founded in Wisconsin in 1970 and helped CCI expand its construction business.
