Ann Arbor-Based Conlin Travel Opens 2,200 Sq Ft Office in Okemos

Celebrating 50 years in business, Ann Arbor-based Conlin Travel recently opened a 2,200 square foot office in Okemos.

“I’ve wanted to expand in this area,” says Conlin Travel President Chris Conlin. “We just recently decided to expand in Lansing because we believe there is a need for high quality business travel and corporate travel services in this area.”

Conlin Travel had Capital region connections well before the move, having worked with Michigan State University (MSU) alumni tours and regional business clients.

“We found it was pretty easy to move about between Okemos and Lansing because the road system is very good,” Conlin says. “Since we focus on corporate travel, this doesn’t require a lot of people to walk in the door. We do a lot of work by phone and online, so being centrally located isn’t needed.”

Conlin says the company experienced some growth after opening the Okemos location.

“We feel that we have a great future in this market and we’re going to be in here for a long time and hopefully be successful and employ more local talent,” he says.
