Ann Arbor-based designer to create PS3 game

Game developer Matt Toschlog has started development on a game for Sony’s Playstation 3 under his new Ann Arbor-based company Reactor Zero.

Co-founder of Parallax Software – developers of the insanely successful Descent series (over 3 million units sold) — and former owner of Outrage Entertainment (sold to publisher THQ in 2002), Matt took a few years off to reconnect with his family.

But the game bug started biting again and Toschlog formed Reactor Zero earlier this year. Since then he’s landed a simulation project for the army, done tools work for various major publishers and started shopping original game designs.

“I’m hoping to grow Reactor Zero to the size where we could do a couple medium-sized projects or a single larger one each year,” says Toschlog. Stay tuned for specifics on upcoming game releases.
