Midland's Farmers Market key part of place plan

Place plans often focus on the beginning piece of the puzzle that will help lead to more development, more involvement and more support for communities. For Midland, the first piece of the puzzle is the Midland Farmers Market, according to the Michigan Municipal League.

"For us, this PlacePlans work is really the first domino toward a larger downtown revitalization plan," said Brad Kaye, director of planning and community development for the City of Midland.
 
The report was created through a collaboration between local partners, the MML and Michigan State University. The MML published Midland's finished "Place Plan" on the league's website Nov. 19.
