Marquette DDA hires new promotions and events coordinator

There's a new employee over at the Marquette Downtown Development Authority and it won't be long until you meet her if you attend any of the organization's events. 

 

Samantha Collins has been hired on by the DDA as the new promotions and events coordinator. Her responsibilities will include planning an implementing the marketing, promotions, activities and events for the downtown district. 

 

"We are thrilled to have Samantha join our team," says DDA director Mona Long. "She will be instrumental in helping to increase awareness and further develop a positive image for the downtown district."

 

Collins graduated from Northern Michigan University. Previously, she worked for the Lake Superior Hospice.
