New Holiday Market location opens in Orion Twp

More than 50 artists will offer their wares at the Metro Detroit area's annual Holiday Market, a ten-day opportunity to find a unique gift this holiday season.

The market was originally located on Anderson Road in Lake Orion. Seeking a locale that might offer the market some more sizzle, they found empty space in the Orion building owed by Diamond Dave's, a local jewelry store.

Excerpt:

"We're just excited about our new look and our new place for this year," said Sue Turpen, vice president of the art center's board, calling the building "architecturally just great." A variety of items are for sale at the market, ranging from pottery to paintings, photography and handmade jewelry, bird houses, books and more.

Holiday Market will be open through Dec. 19. Watch video of the market and read more here.
