Capital Gains Video: Eastside Eco-Renovation

Green building is one of this generation’s most prominent trends. While applying eco-friendly principles to new construction projects is important, renovating an existing structure casts its own shade of green by using existing resources rather than tearing up green space for a new build.

David Muylle is devoted to the idea of working with what we have. A long time Eastside Lansing resident, Muylle’s latest green projectis a complete overhaul of a rundown house on Leslie Street.

It took Muylle two years to finish the renovation, but the end product is simply amazing. Muylle added many green elements to the house, but also increased light and storage space.

We wrote a short article about the Leslie Street house when Muylle finished his project, but words simply cannot do this project justice.

So now you can go on a virtual tour of Muylle’s marvel with Capital Gains videographer Stephen Worsfold.
