There's nothing like chillin' outdoors on a summer's eve, watching the sun set and enjoying the changing sky. But tonight, MSU astronomer, Bob Victor, promises to make the evening just a little more awesome. Head to EVERYbody Reads bookstore on 2019 E. Michigan Ave. in Lansing to observe the Moon, Saturn, stars of summer and have a decent chance to spot Mercury low in WNW early in evening twilight.
This is a family-friendly affair, but with the sunset almost as late as it can be, the session will have to start late ... 9:30 p.m. Oh, Saturn (and her rings) and a few cool stars will be out by 10 p.m.!
