Van Jones, founder of
Green For All and a new appointee to President Barak Obama's environmental advisory team, was in Lansing this week touting the opportunities for Michigan to turn its manufacturing "breakdown into a breakthrough" with Green Jobs.
In life, Jones suggests, most of our biggest breakthroughs come not from success but from crisis. He hopes Michigan will see the automaker's woes as an opportunity to transform our economy into one that's both more sustainable and more socially just.
