Editor's Pick: "Chili" Winter Evening at Woldumar

A "chili" winter evening at Woldumar (5739 Old Lansing Road  Lansing)? Who could resist!

A sleigh will take you through the trails into the prairie where a campfire and hot drinks will be waiting to warm you up. Be sure to visit the Moon Log Cabin where docents will be giving tours and live demonstrations about life in the pioneer times in Michigan. Downstairs in the Rotary Barn, Woldumar will be hosting a Silent Auction with beautiful items from local crafters to help support our year-long educational programs! And remember, snowshoes will be available to rent to help you explore the wintery trails! A great event for all ages.

The cost for the event: $15/non-members; $12/Woldumar members; $10/children 12 & under. Admission includes all-you-can-eat chili dinner, dessert, sleigh ride, treats by the campfire, cabin tour and a show by Powerlight Band.

The event goes from 4 to 10 p.m., with dinner, sleigh rides, cabin tours and snowshoe rentals from 4 to 8 p.m. and music from 6 to 10 p.m. If you're just interested in the music feel free to join us at 6 p.m. for just $5 for admission.
