Grand Blanc

Grand Blanc Charter Township is located in Genesee County just south of Flint. Said to be “planned, progressive and prestigious,” Grand Blanc provides a more relaxed suburban environment compared to Flint, one of Michigan’s most populous cities.

A four square mile area in the center of the township was incorporated in 1930 as the City of Grand Blanc. Residents of Grand Blanc and Grand Blanc Charter Township have access to a number of public amenities including the well-equipped McFarlen Public Library, the Grand Blanc Heritage Museum, and an excellent school system. Grand Blanc also features many different opportunities for outdoor recreation: there are public and private golf courses, a year-round recreational program, and public parks including Creasey Bicentennial Park, which features a softball complex, Little League, tennis courts, pavilions and a fitness trail.

Grand Blanc is the home of the  world headquarters for General Motors Service Parts Operations and the award-winning Genesys Regional Medical Center. The city also hosts a Farmers' Market held every Sunday during the summer and through the fall. The Market features locally-grown produce, food, arts, crafts and other family-oriented events.
