New Bay Harbor chophouse opens

The Inn at Bay Harbor has opened a new concept for its waterfront restaurant, called the Vintage Chophouse and Wine Bar.

The Petoskey-area resort hotel opened the doors on the new restaurant in late May. It combines the classic steakhouse with a upscale lounge area, all overlooking Lake Michigan.

The newly designed restaurant offers lakeside patio seating ambience and a menu full of modern interpretations of steak dishes from executive chef Barbie Papi. Drinks include martinis, classic cocktails, and interesting wines, according to the resort's announcement.

"We are fortunate to have a passionate crew of designers and carpenters hard at work on this exciting new dining destination," says Ami Klykken, director of operations for The Inn at Bay Harbor. "Vintage is stylish and so are our local foodies and resort patrons. It's a sure fit."
