Traverse City clothing brand expanding to East Coast

A casual clothing brand with roots in Traverse City announced it will be adding representation and distribution on the East Coast this fall and winter.

Snoloha has been making beach-meets-ski-hill clothing for northern Michigan and beyond for three years now, and owner Rod Call says they're ready for a wider audience.

To help the brand grow and get exposure, Snoloha has partnered with Elliot and Ginny Popper, of Elliot Popper Sales, who will be the brand's representatives down the whole East Coast, from New England to South Carolina.

"We're excited about the association," says Call. "The Poppers have extensive experience in retail and wholesale business, and in particular marketing products and brands for the type of casual, laid-back living style the Snoloha brand represents."

The company's signature recreational clothing includes comfy, laid-back pieces that are soft, worn and low-key, the kind of clothes that make you feel like you're on vacation, Call says.

The Poppers will be showcasing that aesthetic for the East Coast retailers at several trade shows this fall and winter, as Snoloha focuses on resort, tourist and vacation hot spots for growth and inspiration.
