It looks like The River will be expanding, and that means great things for the business's customers.
That expansion is known as
231 Outfitters, and it's located on Grandview Parkway in the warehouse district of Traverse City. There, customers will be able to purchase equipment, arrange for rentals and even have repairs made to their own equipment.
The new business, which is owned by Michael Sutherland, will be a compliment to The River at Clinch Park, and folks will be able to still rent bikes, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, tubes, canoes and rafts there.
The River first opened 10 years ago in Glen Arbor, and expanded to Clinch Park five years ago.
