FINE Design Group to acquire Traverse City-based online marketer Big Daylight

Traverse City-based Big Daylight, an online marketing company, will have new owners soon.

The company, which specializes in search engine optimization, pay-per-click advertising, social media strategy and analytics consulting, will be acquired by FINE Design Group, based in San Francisco.

"This gives us a great opportunity to work with world-class brands on a national and international scale," says Sarah Mackenzie, Big Daylight co-founder. "These brands can also leverage our online marketing know-how to enhance their brand equity."

The acquisition is expected to be finalized by the end of January and Big Daylight will retain it's Michigan offices. Terms of the acquisition will not be disclosed.

FINE Design indicated it acquired Big Daylight because it believes it will theb be able to offer its clients a broader spectrum of digital marketing and branding services to meet their unique strategic objectives.

"We've always believed that your traffic is only as good as your ability to convert it. Similarly, your website is only as effective as its ability to be found online," says Big Daylight co-founder Nick Perez. "Now we can help customers leverage the best of both worlds with holistic online marketing strategies that send users to the kind of high-end brand web destinations that FINE has been known for."

FINE Design Group is an independently owned digital agency that was founded in 1993. It uses strategy, design, and technology to create engaging online experiences for its clients.
