Boyne hires new golf manager

As courses start to open for the summer, the Boyne resorts in northern Michigan announced they will have a new golf sales manager overseeing all golf bookings at Michigan operations, particularly large groups.

William "Joe" Arnold will be the golf sales manager for Boyne Highlands Resort in Harbor Springs, Boyne Mountain Resort in Boyne Falls, The Inn at Bay Harbor and Bay Harbor Golf Club in Bay Harbor, Crooked Tree Golf Club in Petoskey, and Hidden River Golf and Casting Club in Brutus.

Arnold comes to Boyne from Otsego Club and Resort in Gaylord, and has a degree in marketing and professional sales from Central Michigan University.

Among his duties will be helping large groups plan golf vacations among Boyne's 11 golf courses and three resorts, customizing trip planning for golfers, and organizing events, contests, group golf clinics and tournaments. He also can connect golfers with other amenities available at Boyne properties, like private dinners, parties, award ceremonies and other resort activities.
