Greenlight Marketing earns big marks at ADDY Awards with gold and silver honors

The folks over at Greenlight Marketing don't just talk the talk--they have the hardware to back it up, too.

The Traverse City-based marketing firm brought home two awards at the annual ADDY Awards, which were held in Grand Rapids at the end of February. Greenlight Marketing received two gold ADDY awards and one silver ADDY award. One gold was for a 15-second TV spot for the Traverse City North Stars, and another was for a 15-second commercial for a broadcast public service announcement for Battle Creek Skate Park. The silver was awarded for an outdoor billboard for the Southwest Michigan Council Boy Scouts of America.

The awards were extra special to the crew at Greenlight because, as in years past, they bested larger firms from the bigger Michigan cities.

"We are proud to continue to show that great creative comes from experience and intuition, not just boasting a more metropolitan address," says Karl Bastian, co-creative director. "Being recognized and rewarded for work that we love to do everyday is immensely gratifying."

The ADDY Awards are the advertising industry's largest and most representative competition, attracting over 60,000 entries every year in local ADDY competitions.
