The Homestead announces salon naming contest

The Homestead is adding a salon to its already-impressive list of amenities, and they are giving the public a chance to name it. The best part? The lucky winner is going to get a bit of pampering, courtesy of the resort.

The idea of adding a salon to the property was born after frequent requests from group guests for such services in the past.

"Given the high number of requests that we've had for salon services over the past three years, we do anticipate that the salon will fill a void for existing business," says Jamie Jewell of The Homestead. "It is also our hope that by providing more services that our group guests desire, we will be successful in increasing business. Brides, in particular, find it very appealing to have multiple services provided by the resort."

The salon is expected to be open this summer, and The Homestead has asked that interested members of the public submit their suggested name. Out of the entries, voting will take place for the best names and the eventual winners will be given one of a variety of impressive prize packages. All of the details are available on the contest page.

"All of us at The Homestead are also very excited that our company has committed to expand and upgrade our facilities--an accomplishment we are very proud of, especially when you consider the effects of the economy on other businesses," says Jewell. "It's exciting when we introduce new amenities and services for our owners, guests and neighbors."
