Kubick Aviation expanding in Kingsford

Kubick Aviation Services, Inc. in Kingsford recently announced it will buy up Superior Aviation, Ltd.

In April, owner Chad Kubick says he made an agreement with owner Bruce Varda of Superior Aviation to purchase the majority of the latter's fixed base operation assets. That will mean a move for Kubick Aviation within the boundaries of Ford Airport in Kingsford, to the main hangar formerly occupied by Superior Aviation. It also means an expansion for Kubick, as he will keep on most of Superior's employees, increasing his staff. There are even further plans to hire on added support staff as the company continues to grow.

Kubick founded the company in 2004 to offer aircraft maintenance and repair services. Recently, it has grown to include a full service, certified avionics and aviation maintenance department, aircraft management services, self-service fueling, a 24-hour pilot's lounge for customers, conference room and private work spaces with wireless Internet, pilot's supplies like logbooks and navigation charts, and rental aircraft.
