There's a new vice president for instruction and student learning over at
Bay College in Escanaba now that Dr. Catherine Gatewood has been hired.
Gatewood has more than a little experience in the collegiate world. She not only has an associate, a bachelors and a masters and a doctorate in education, she also has spent the majority of her career as a professor, a dean, a program coordinator and lecturer and more. Her most recent job prior to taking the Bay College position was as vice president for academic and student affairs at Anoka Technical College in Anoka, Minn.
Gatewood's associate degree in pre-secondary education is from Delta College while her bachelor in secondary education is from Saginaw Valley State University. She received her master's degree from Central Michigan University and her doctorate from Nova Southeastern University.
