Lasco announces two new hires

Ryan Valiquette was hired by Lasco in February as a new member of its technical department. Valiquette is originally from Gladstone and has an associate degree in computer systems technology from Bay de Noc Community College. He also has a bachelors degree in computer networking from Lake Superior State University, where he graduated summa cum laude and was honored as the outstanding technology graduate of the year.

Valiquette's work experience includes network support, systems and network technical work and systems and network administration. For Lasco, he will be a support technician.

Jason Barnes is the other new hire at Lasco, a graduate of Escanaba Senior High School and Northern Michigan University. He received a bachelors degree there in English literature, minoring in computer information systems networking. His other work background includes the U.S. Army, where he worked in field artillery and as an Arabic interpreter. At NMU, Barnes was a help desk consultant and technical support staffer. He'll also be a support technician for Lasco.
