Marquette foodies should sit up and take note--Restaurant Week is coming to town.
The food-lover's favorite time of year has arrived, and this year several restaurants across Marquette will be showcasing their wares in the inaugural celebration of local flavor. The event, which will run March 5-11, will feature member restaurants of the
Eastside Independent Restaurant Association showcasing special menu offerings with set pricing all week long.
Select lunches are set at $10 for the week and dinners at $25--and the line-up at some local establishments definitely sounds appealing. Take the ever popular
Togo's, for example. Diners can get two large subs, sodas and chips for just $10 for lunch or two family size (two feet!) subs and a two-liter soda for just $25.
Another option is
Elizabeth's Chophouse. Items like their top-notch burger are available at lunch, while dinner consists of a starter, a soup or salad and an entree--including the choice of a 10-ounce slab of prime rib.
Other restaurants that will be offering Restaurant Week specials are:
Babycakes Muffin Company,
Casa Calabria,
Doncker's,
Capers,
L'Attitude,
Pasta Shop,
Stucko's, Sweet Basil Deli,
Sweet Water Cafe,
Thai House,
Third Street Bagel,
Upfront & Co.,
Vango's and the
Vierling.
