Business professionals in the Sault Ste. Marie area are getting a chance to learn about social media marketing tools in an upcoming series of webinars offered through the Sault Area Chamber of Commerce.
Chamber members receive a discount on the cost of the seminars, but they are open to any business person in the area, and are presented by Gems Solutions. They take place online in November, December and January.
The sessions will discuss social media forums and tools like Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn, along with ways to connect products, opinions, and events to more people. The speaker is Rebecca Kotz, a social media coach and marketer who teaches internet marketing at Northwood University downstate.
"I recommend her seminars to those individuals who hope to obtain a better understanding of how to maximize their business potential through various online technologies," says Judy Fox, the associate director of marketing and communications at Northwood University.
Registration is done
online and is open for all the seminars currently. The first scheduled LinkedIn webinar is Nov. 3. Chamber members of participating chambers of commerce can participate for $25 per series; others are $60 per series. If registrants are unable to attend at the exact webinar time, a link will be provided to view the webinar at a convenient time.
