Steve Hamilton releases newest book set in U.P.

Author Steve Hamilton has a new book out, his latest in the Alex McKnight series to be set in the eastern Upper Peninsula.

"Die A Stranger" is the next entry in the series, which is based in Paradise, as McKnight, a former Detroit cop turned private investigator, looks into the disappearance of his friend Vinnie LeBlanc.

It's the ninth book in Hamilton's popular mystery series. Hamilton has won Hopwood and Edgar Awards for his work and will be appearing at Michigan bookstores and libraries in Montague, Grand Haven and Spring Lake July 30 before publicizing the book nationwide.

It's already getting good reviews from the likes of the Detroit Free Press and Publishers Weekly and will be available at local bookstores.
