UP Home Health, Hospice & Private Duty hires two

There's a new face over at UP Home Health, Hospice & Private Duty thanks to the hiring of Lindsay Hemmila as the new director of community services. In addition, the UPHHHPD announced that Robert Raica has been promoted to the position of chief strategy officer and Rachel Racine has been named manager of office support services.

Hemmila is no stranger to community outreach and public relations. She was previously the director of marketing and public relations for the Lake Superior Community Partnership. She brings with her a bachelor's degree from Northern Michigan University.

Raica, who has been with UPHHHPD for more than a year, will be responsible for overseeing outreach activities as well as leading the company's strategic development and long-term operational priorities. Previously he served has assistant administrator with Marquette General Health Systems and is a graduate of NMU.

Racine has been with the company for over 12 years and her new responsibilities include oversight of all support functions within the agency including staff scheduling, office support and fleet and physical plant maintenance.
