Yooper Shirts signs exclusive deal with Redfella Records

With the hope of its own brick and mortar location on the horizon, Yoopers Shirts is taking steps to make sure their t-shirts are getting exposure in Marquette.

The company, which up until recently sold exclusively online, has entered an agreement to offer five exclusive t-shirts that will only be available at Redfella Records in downtown Marquette. Of the five shirts, owner Jeremy Symons has added two new releases, titled "I love MQT" and the "906 RiR," while the other three shirts are custom made for Redfella with their very own color combinations. The shirts will be available starting Feb. 25.

"We like to create exclusive agreement deals with local businesses who want to sell Yooper Shirts products," says Symons. "Since we do have an online store, and plan to open our very own retail spot within the next couple of months, we like to be able to offer our shirts to vendors exclusively. What this means is that rather than vendors having the same shirts we sell online, they can pick their own color shirts and also different color combinations that appear on the shirts. This is beneficial both to the vendor and Yooper Shirts as we can offer more products in a variety of looks and each vendor can have specific shirts that compliment their brand as well."

The only place to buy the five custom shirts will be at Redfella Records' studio in Marquette.

All products by Yoopers Shirts are designed and printed in the Upper Peninsula.
