AMI Industries in Sault Ste. Marie is hiring a plant accountant. The position is full-time, requiring 45 hours a week. Duties include administrating and interpreting AMI accounting policy, procedures and programs at the company's Sault plant, supervising plant accounts and application of accounting standards, installing accounting systems, preparing manufacturing ledgers, cost-accounting activities, and plant financial and control reports, as well as monitoring payroll, customer invoices, material, supply, production and finished product inventions.
Qualifications:- Associate's degree
- Minimum of one year of experience
- Drug screening
- Reference and security check
- Extensive and complete knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Operational accounting experience in manufacturing
- Minimum of two years supervisory experience preferred
- CPA certification
