The
Daily Press in Escanaba is looking for a full-time sports reporter who is looking for an opportunity - not just a job. The six-day-per-week paper offers the chance to experience some of the best sports the Upper Peninsula has to offer under the guidance one of the most experienced sports editors in the region. The Daily Press has a two and a half person sports department that covers several school districts as well as community and organized sports.
Requirements:-Knowledge of sports and writing
-Experience in newspaper reporting and pagination preferred
-College degree in journalism or related field preferred
-Ability to work varying hours, including nights and weekends
-Must be able to be a team player and work individually
